People want to be paid for what they do—for the unique talent they bring to the table, their enthusiasm, their insight and their loyalty. So, Divisional Entities are designed to offer their team members an autonomous path for earning income and equity in a private stock corporation (similar to Publix supermarkets 80/20 Employee Stock Ownership Plan). This “stakeholder” structure has been shown to be the most profitable path for an Independent Business Owner (IBO) to accumulate wealth. This also leads to majority equity ownership that rests in the hands of the members who contribute the most to a company’s growth and development. Thus, the people who most actively participate in building the Divisional Entity company will earn the most equity. The fairness of this equity distribution process is part of what we call S.E.E.D.S. – Sustainable Economic Enterprise Development Systems. We believe this design to be an essential process for fixing modern-day business inequities using a Civic Capitalism methodology.
